Founder
Karl Degenstien, a welder, inventor, avid surfer, and business man. He started Degenstone surf company 10 years ago and was an integral part of the boat surfing movement in the prairies. He perfected his art of building carbon fiber surfboards and stand-up paddle boards. He focused on custom high-end designs to match people’s performance requirements. He also builds custom stand up paddle boards, some with custom lighting and storage compartments. Naturally his passion evolved much like the sport of surfing to where he eventually built his first E-foil from scratch. The rest is history after that.

Reach out to us if your at all interested in the new and exciting world of E-foiling. We would be happy to discuss options to get you up and riding.
We aim to build custom boards to suit your experience and performance requirements. This option is the best as you pay a deposit we get all the needed information from you then we build a board to match your specifications.
If your not ready to drop big money on a custom board then stay tuned here for stock or demo items. We got to warn you though they don’t come up often since we mainly focus on building custom boards.
We build the boards from scratch here in saskatoon. If you have any problems with your boards bring them to our garage and we will fix them. We can also give you a loaner board while we fix yours so you can keep riding. We have done everything we can to break our boards over the last 2 years of research and development including running aground at 35km/hr. If we can’t break them, neither can you. Prop bashing not included.
These are some rental packages that we find help people. The hardest part of e-foiling is transitioning from the stomach up into the standing position. If you have foiled behind a boat then you could probably stand up after 1 hour session. If you haven’t done much surfing then you’ll probably need more time and a 5 hour session would work well for you.
All testimonials are real surfer that rode the Saskatchewan river or blackstrap with our DS E-foils!
Wow Man that was fun!!! I can believe I was able to get up and ride my first 1 hour session. Damn now I’m going to have to buy an E-foil.
I was scared to try one but with Karl’s help I was up and riding with in a few lessons. Once I got the hang of it I was hooked. Can’t wait for my own DS board so I can ride all summer long!
Wicked!! I cant believe how much torque it has. Almost need a beginner button to slow the thing down.
